Üç çiftle tanışıyoruz. İlk olarak, doğum izninden sonra işine geri dönen başarılı avukat Anne ile tanışıyoruz. Hukuk bürosunda ortak olma yolunda ilerlemektedir. Çok geçmeden kariyerini bir bebekle dengelemenin zorlukları olduğunu öğrenir. Hem kariyeri hem de kocası Barry ile olan ilişkisi yeni aile durumu nedeniyle baskı altındadır. Anne yardım arar ve annelere yardım eden bir dernek olan Mama for Mama's Club'a katılır. Bu kulüp Kim tarafından kurulmuştur. Kim, Roos ile evlidir ve çiftin yakın arkadaşları Kaj'ın yardımıyla sahip oldukları iki çocukları vardır. Kaj ile yapılan anlaşma, onun sadece sperm donörü olacağı yönündedir, ancak çift üçüncü çocuklarını Kaj'dan beklediğinde, Kaj çocukların yetiştirilmesine dahil olmak istediğine karar verir. Storyline:

We meet three couples. First of all, we meet the successful lawyer Anne who is going back to work after her maternity leave. She is well on her way to becoming a partner at her law firm. She soon learns that balancing her career with a baby comes with challenges. Both her career and her relationship with her husband Barry are under pressure due to the new family situation. Anne seeks help and joins the Mama for Mama's Club, a society that helps mothers. This club is founded by Kim. Kim is married to Roos and the couple have two children who they had with the help of their good friend Kaj. The agreement with Kaj is that he would only be a sperm donor, but when the couple expects their third child from Kaj, Kaj decides that he wants to be involved in the upbringing of the children. This is to Kim's great dissatisfaction. Ilse also joins the club. Ilse and her Moroccan husband Sabri have never really discussed how they want to raise their child Sami. However, the couple wants to give their child both cultures. This proves to be a challenge and creates friction within their relationship. The culture clash becomes even more apparent when Sabri's mother moves in with them to help them with the upbringing.
